Who is Louis Lewendon?
(Loo-ee Lu-en-dun)
<- This guy.
A British Author of all sorts of fiction genres with a name that is often pronounced wrong.
Growing up, I have always found interest in the story. I was raised on video games then found a love for film and television, be it live-action or animated. Both contained various fun visuals of course, but I was always enamoured by the characters, what they said, how they acted, what they went through. The story always caught my eye.
So when it came to choosing what I wanted to get into after secondary school (after a toe-dipping into the Dramatic Arts) I obviously went for Film and TV, studying such in both college and university, spending five years doing so.
But it was during a certain worldwide virus that I really kicked into high gear in terms of creativity. All it took was a suggestion for a writing group to fight the thoughts that isolation brings and it turned “What am I going to do today?” into “What am I going to write this week?” It was during these trying times that gave birth to the first version of my first book: All Under Heaven: Dawn - Dusk.
So that’s my origin story. I still play the odd game here and there, watch anything that takes my fancy, and there’s still nothing I love more than a great story. I’ll make a dessert every now and then, go out for morning walks to develop stories further, and continue to obsess over a certain giant radioactive dinosaur.
What’s in for the future? That’s for me to write.
